Price 50% slumped for discontinued Rolex watches

Rolex never announces the watches it is discontinuing. Still, collectors like to follow the rumors about which watches will disappear from the catalog. Speculators have been known to bet big on these rumors because watches no longer in production usually rise in value. rolex for men
If these speculators have timed their investments poorly, they could be in for a significant loss now, as the prices of most Rolex replica watches discontinued at the end of March are falling.
Launched in September 2020, the Rolex Oyster Perpetual comes in various dial colors and sizes. By 2021, many have risen to jaw-dropping levels, going for as much as eight times their retail value at authorized dealers.
These prices accelerated when rumors surfaced that replica Rolex would eliminate several dial colors and sizes.
For example, according to data provided exclusively by Swiss secondary market specialist CHRONEXT, the 41mm powder blue Oyster Perpetual traded for €32,500 in early 2022. Still, by the time of the Watches & Wonders show in late March, prices had soared by 50% to €48,000.
CHRONEXT reports that the blue Oyster Perpetual 36mm model with the same power rose even faster in the first quarter, from €22,000 to €45,000. The watch will retail for 5,400 euros.
The 36mm model with the same dial color was one of the most significant declines since March, falling 48% from 45,000 euros to 23,500 euros.
CHRONEXT says the pale pink dial of the 36mm-only Oyster Perpetual fell even more from a peak of €34,000 in March to €16,000 in June. That represents a 53 percent drop in just three months.
Other discontinued fake watches that saw a less pronounced spike in the first quarter and have fallen less since then include the yellow and coral versions of the Oyster Perpetual in the 41mm and 36mm sizes.
